Extended Length Boxer Splint
Indications
Acute or sub-acute fractures of the 4th and 5th metacarpals com- monly referred to as “boxer fractures.”
Description
The lightweight polyethylene shell of the Extended Length Boxer Splint is constructed with a soft foam interior, palmer pad, and closure straps. Anatomically built with an average length of 9 5/8” to comfortably support, shield, and immobilize the 4th and 5th metacarpals. The patient gets more support thanks to the lengthened length.
