Soft tissue injuries, Grade II and III sprains, Stable fractures.
The High Top Aero Walker is a hard shell walker with plastic uprights that offer stability and support. If you were treating an ankle or rear foot injury, a low-top air walker would not be an ideal choice. You should use a high top walker if you are using wedges with the walker. It has an inflatable pneumatic air bladder that compresses the ankle when inflated. Turn the dial 1/4 turn counterclockwise underneath the blue ball to release the air pressure. Occasionally, you need to squeeze the air bladder after turning the dial.
