Indications
Posterior tibial tendon dysfunction, tendonitis, acute ankle sprain, chronic and/or lateral ankle instability, post fracture care.
Description
The Motion Ankle is a semi-rigid foot and ankle brace that can be used to treat mid-foot strains, ankle injuries, or as a stepping stone to customized AFO therapy. It has a single-action, free-moving bilateral hinge. To improve comfort, insert the footplate underneath the shoe’s detachable insole. Vertical stability is provided by the Polymer uprights. Easily worn with most shoes, provides medial and lateral support, and is comfortable enough for daily wear.
